Solar Open House: New York’s Capital District

September 19, 2012 by Kathleen Maier in Solar Stories with 0 Comments

When: Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 6pm – 8pm
Where: 12 Brandon Court in Latham, NY

Come join us for an informative, catered solar open house!

There’s nothing to buy and no long, boring seminar. Simply enjoy food, drinks, and the opportunity to check out the home solar system we installed for host Ashok Gupta at his Albany area home.

We installed a 5kW solar array at the Guptas’ home in January of 2012 and now they’re saving every month on their electric bill. The solar open house on Thursday, September 27th in Latham, NY is a great way to find out what the sun can do for you. Bring your most recent electric bill and you’ll be eligible to win a $25 movie theater gift certificate.

If you can’t stop by on the 27th and still want to learn how you might be able to put the sun to work for you and to save money on your electric bill, let us know and we can have Olya, Real Goods Solar’s Albany area solar expert, contact you.

Please RSVP if you’re interested to Ashok Gupta (518-783-9886 or ashokgupta_2000@yahoo.com) or to Kathleen Maier of Real Goods Solar (845-548-4673 or Kathleen.maier@realgoods.com).

  • Harry Simmelink: I agree, but people need to understand that adding Solar to their home is an asset that will increase the actual value of their property if / when they choose to sell. With the environment the way it is going we are unable to ignore any product that offers free energy at no cost to both the buyer and more significantly the earth!

  • Carina Whitham: I loved how Sera explained the benefits of solar! I am going to show this to my five year old who I am also teaching about the value of renewable energy. Great video!
